REVIEW OF PROGRESS AND ACHIEVEMENTS for 2010
The £15,000 loan taken out at the end of 2006 for the new roof has now been paid off.
In August we celebrated 100 years since the hall was opened in 1910, with a week of activities starting with a Sunday morning service and finishing off with a concert by the Houghton Weavers.
The 2 halls have been redecorated, a new Village Hall Sign has been put on the building, and new lighting has been fitted in the lower hall.
We have had new regular users during the year with Salsa, Zumba Fitness and Dog Training.
The hall is being used more for one off bookings such as parties and general room hire.
